Basil & Pecan Pesto

½ cup pecans

Juice of 1 lemon

2 cloves garlic

3 cups packed basil

Salt and Pepper, to taste

Pinch of cayenne

½ cup extra virgin olive oil

A little water

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients except oil and water into blender.
  2. Blend. Adding a little water to help get things moving.
  3. Once all pureed and green, slowly add oil.
